Cold-rolled coil is a steel strip made from hot-rolled coil as raw material, which is rolled by a roller at room temperature and coiled into shape. It has a high surface finish and a dimensional accuracy error of no more than 0.03mm. Its production adopts a non-heating rolling process, avoiding the defect of iron oxide scale. The thickness range is 0.2-4mm, and the width is 600-2000mm. The grades cover Q195A-Q235A, SPCC, DC01-06 and other series. After annealing treatment, the product eliminates internal stress and is widely used in fields such as automotive manufacturing, home appliances, architectural decoration, and new energy battery frames. Cold-rolled coils are heat-treated in a bell annealing furnace. To optimize the process, the heating temperature should be controlled at 680-720℃ and the holding time should be extended [7-8].

Hebei Iron & Steel Group has achieved an annual production capacity of 450,000 tons of cold-rolled hard coils and 120,000

tons of cold-rolled coils through the intelligent factory project [6]. The high-quality steel slab continuous casting mold

technology developed by Sinomach Group can reduce the linear defect rate on the surface of cold-rolled coils by 40% [5].

n April 2025, the average price of cold-rolled sheet and coil in the domestic market dropped to 3,935 yuanper ton.

The mismatch between supply and demand led to an intensification of inventory pressure
